Thanks for bringing her in!
We had an amazing event at A Stone’s Throw last weekend and I can FINALLY show you some of the images. This family is a mix of both in studio and the event at A Stone’s Throw. What a little doll! Like I mentioned before the kids were so cute, even the big ones

In the next couple of days I’ll be able to get more up to share.
Ok I HAD to sneak my girls in at the end of our day at A Stone’s Throw today! I just couldn’t pass it up. So I thought I’d share a few with you all. If you haven’t seen what we’re up to there check out the Specials page. If you missed today, we’re back Sunday the 15th and there are only a couple spaces left!!!

Remember this family? We couldn’t resist doing another session right in their neighborhood. I absolutely love all the fall colors and the whole feel of their session.

My favorite family shot of the day!

The kids were so great. They loved being outdoors and being able to play a bit in-between sitting for me. And look at Mr. GQ ! He has the most infectious smile!

Little missy here is all trouble!! with a capitol T ( just like my littlest one)! She’s got cheeky written all over her! Can’t you just hear her laugh?!

I love taking a couple of mom and dad too. When do you ever get pictures of yourselves as a couple?
I know I love having a recent image of my husband and I around. – Besides they’re cute togerther eh?

Love how big brother is ‘teaching’ her how to pick the perfect rock to throw.

OK, maybe this is my favorite family image from this session! I LOVE it!

In the end it was off to Tim Horton’s for well deserved donuts and cups of hot chocolate! Thanks guys! Enjoy!
I have to say I absolutely loved photographing this family. Sweet. Fun. Relaxed.
Ok maybe not relaxing
but that’s what I love about photographing families.
I don’t think the two boys stayed within 2 feet of each other more than a nano second.
They did however, love the water and the rocks, running away from Dad and jumping off anything taller than 6″!

Big sister was so sweet. You can just tell she’s going to be a gorgeous young woman.

And did you notice the kids all have killer eyes!

I couldn’t resist snapping one of mom and dad watching the kids run in the leaves.

Perfect fall day for family photographs. Thanks again guys. I can’t wait to see all your prints!!
Another fantastic family sessions! This little man was SO funny. A little shy at first, he just needed a little time to warm up. A snuggle with mom, a little play time with Dad and then he was all smiles! Of course he did have his 2 best lovies to help out too.
Thanks for coming by to play.

What an amazing day! Our first annual Halloween Charity Portrait Event at My Bubble was a huge hit! Not only did we collect bins upon bins of food for the emergency food banks in Durham Region (serviced by Feed The Need Durham), we brought in nearly $1200 from the silent auction and generous cash donations! I have to say I am very moved by the a the kindness of everyone who participated.
The kids were all so fantastic! The costumes were absolutely adorable!

I’d like to thank all the fantastic volunteers and the following sponsors for making it all possible.

This is one of my all time favorite families to photograph. I have been photographing these girls pretty much since they were born and wow does it make you realize how fast time goes by.
My own girls are only 4 and 2, but Miss B is already a tween!

One of my new favorite Mother-Daughter images. Every time I see it I wish I had one like it with my mom.

She’s a real little model. Loves the camera.

Her little sister is equally adorable and very possessive of her big sister!

The most adorable baby giraffe I have ever seen! I just LOVE little kids at Halloween! There’s something about tiny costumes that is just too darn cute!

Thanks for coming all this way to see me again.
I just love photographing expectant parents. The excitement and anticipation are so contagious.
There’s also something so unbelievably beautiful and surreal about creating another human being. This first image of this first-time mom-to-be I think really embodies that idea.

And can you believe she just finished her Yoga certification! Unbelievable! I couldn’t even put my own shoes on!

I am so excited to meet your new little man! Not long now….

We had such a great time getting these pictures taken! I was extremely impressed with your patience and knowlege on how to deal with the baby, and how to get the great shots that you did. Alana, you did an amazing job, and made it very difficult to choose which ones to keep. Thank you for the great experience!
