I love love love my job!! When I get to see and hold tiny new people like this … and his new baby smell….oh my goodness it’s really a wonder I only have two children (so far).

Despite the fact that this brand new baby boy was 13 days old for his session (already a big boy in the world of newborn photography!) his behaved perfectly!  We created some beautiful sleepy images and just enough wide awake ones   This is just one … ooo those toes!

Welcome to the world little man!

Speaking of which. This couple was referred to me by a phenominal company called Discover Birth.  They offer everything from doula services to childbirth education classes, even post-partum doulas!  Literally everything they do is top shelf.  If you are expecting a baby whether it’s your first or fourth you should pop onto the website or contact Stefanie (owner and practicing Doula) directly to find out how they can help your birth experience positive and empowering.

When I was contacted to photograph these two beautiful young women for their graduations I was ecstatic!  This is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph and I jumped at the chance.

I’m going to tell a bit on myself, I graduated High School 18 years ago.  18 years ago!  I graduated grade 8, 22 years ago.  Wow I so don’t feel like it’s been that long! Maybe that’s because I still remember every detail. I remember the dresses I wore, my hair (my big… big hair!), my dates, how grown up I felt, how proud I felt.  I accomplished something; something big and my family was equally proud.  These times don’t come around often. For some only a few times in their entire lives and so they become part of us.  Benchmarks of who we are and a place to start down a new path.

I am so happy that you will have these images as beautiful reminders of who you are now and how proud your parents are. Congratulations girls!  May your future continue to be bright and full of promise.

Finally!! I have been dying to show you all some of the images from Father’s Day at My Bubble!!  Tomorrow the contest goes live!!

What a fun fun fun session! This mom-to-be came with her sister and wow did we have a blast!  This elegant mom of 3 is about to have her fourth (yes 4th!) and is absolutely glowing!  If I knew I could look this good pregnant I might even have another!!

I couldn’t resist showing you this couple.  They are absolutely darling and were a delight to work with.  I have to say their baby’s story is so touching and I can’t wait to photograph him.

Ok, don’t hate them because they’re beautiful!  -inside and out.  This family was truly so sweet and loving; and absolute joy to work with.  (Well except for the fact that right now I’m paranoid about my spelling and grammar!)  I am so excited about these images and can’t wait to meet the new little one!

This prescious itty-bitty  is just 5 days old.  Welcome to the world little man.

I am so excited to tell you about this amazing oportunity for my studio!  If you receive my newsletter you already know that I have been invited to display some of my images in a  gallery that features local artists here in Durham Region!    I am thrilled, thrilled, thrilled!  The gallery is at The Optometrists in Whitby right on Dundas St. W.

I managed to take a few snaps of the walls and added them here, but really if you have the chance you should stop in an take a peak.
