Alana is most well known for her artistic maternity and pregnancy portraits and sought after for her organic natural newborn images. She photographs expecting mothers in a relaxed atmosphere, creatively using beautiful lighting and shadows to sculpt the pregnant form. Alana uses skilled dramatic lighting techniques which, when combined with her intimate style, create emotional fine art images that will be true family heirlooms.
Maternity portraits are best booked in advance for between 32 and 36 weeks. The newborn images on her site show babies who are two weeks old or younger.
If you are pregnant or have a brand new baby please contact us immediately. You will receive priority placement for your fine art portrait session due to the small window of opportunity to achieve the best possible look.
CREATIVE FEES
Creative fees include the artist’s time and talent, a pre-session consultation, a 1-2 hour photographic session, general editing and processing of images and a 1-2 hour private portrait screening. Creative Fees do not include final images unless otherwise noted in the Investment Guide and are subject to applicable taxes.
The full creative fee is required to reserve your session. 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your session time. The creative fee is non-refundable.
Unless otherwise stated, a $75 (and up) travel fee per session may apply to on-location sessions (Ajax Lakeside excluded).
