Child portraits become a legacy of love.
I have been photographing Miss Violet and her beautiful mamma since she was itty-bitty. You know, the size where they can just start to run in the wind, stop in awe at a flower and snuggle into your lap just so. The size where their skin is so silky soft you could kiss their cheeks for hours; where they start to really hug back and where you kisses magically solve all their worldly problems.
Creating a beautiful legacy of images that bring you back to that very moment…
that moment you were afraid she was running so fast down the ‘big’ hill, that she wouldn’t be able to stop.
And the moment you saw her cheeky smile and had this glimpse at the woman she is growing into.
You get the biggest most innocent eyes staring at your soul,
…the giggle and utter joy at her belief in magic and all fairy things,
and then the confidence of really being a big girl!
We always comment at how fast life moves. “I can’t believe she’s 2 already!!” “Oh my gosh, how did she get to be 5!” “7 Wow!! How did that happen?!” Want to slow things down,
have one more snuggle before their legs are to long for your lap, or hold their perfect tiny hand one more time. Child portraits over time let you live it all over again.

Alana has children of her own and her motherly nature shows. She handled our baby as if her own and I was worry free the entire photo shoot.
