Durham Region Family Photographer | Evolution of a Studio
I love Dr. Seuss, I especially love his “Oh the places you’ll go!” I have read it to my kids for years and still get weepy when I think of all the things they’ll accomplish in their lives. There’s a part near the end where he talks about moving mountains and I feel as though I moved one of mine last night.
Last night marked the official opening of our brand new retail location. To say the least, I was very moved and very humbled by all the attention, all the authentic compliments, and all the support from those who are both near and far!
We moved from Ajax to the old pedestrian village in (downtown)Whitby. The building is over 100 years old and full of character and history. Just perfect. You’ll find our entrance right straight through Antony’s Gallery (past some remarkable original works by artists like Tim Packer, Miguel Frietas and Victor Molov). The corridor opens into a fresh and spacious camera room and leads you right into our cozy and relaxing lounge. I love it! It’s welcoming and spacious all at the same time.
We are still available by appointment only, so be sure to give us a quick call and let us know you want to schedule an appointment.
Below are a few images of our new space. If you want to see more of our project from start to finish check us out on Facebook – you won’t believe what the place looked like when we started!!
