Wow. It’s just about all I can say.
I had the pleasure of photographing the Novak family and their brand new baby girl a few weeks ago. It truly was all the things you could expect in a newborn session with three older brothers and more! I have stories from that session that will last a lifetime!
Eric Novak happens to be the talented author of the “Who’s Your Daddy” Blog on the Yummy Mummy site, among too many other wonderful talents to talk about here. If you are one of the few who haven’t heard of his blog yet, let me tell you it is worth subscribing too. Hilarious, inspiring, and real. He writes about his family and life as a 21st century Dad. Well today his blog entry was about me!
Again all I can say is wow, (and thank you of course). It is beyond touching when someone completely sees what I see. The beauty of people, the value of family and the unstopableness of time. My unofficial tag line is “Take Nothing for Granted”, and Eric’s entry encompasses all of that and more. They are only newborn for a moment.

“When working with newborns it is important to find not only an amazing photographer but also a photographer that works amazingly with newborns. Alana has children of her own and her motherly nature shows. She handled our baby as if her own and I was worry free the entire photo shoot. Being a first time mom, everything is scary but having Alana come to our home and work her magic was more than I could have asked for!”
